Even if you aren't a lover of historical fiction proportions, this novel has a bit of everything - mystery, war, love, loss, suspense...and a good dash of history. Quinn takes the reader back to Bletchley Park, the site of a secret code-breaking society behind some of World War II's biggest non-violent war efforts. Quinn follows the pathways of three (very) different women on their journeys on and off the job of assisting their country in intercepting and breaking some of the most complicated codes created. But, while some enemies were apparent during the war, others were hidden, perhaps deep within the very institution created to thwart the opposed.
These women were SO fun to meet and follow in their ventures - each strong and unique in varied ways - it is a perfect book to continue the celebration of AMAZING women (who says they can't be fictional heroes?).
