Meet the Staff
Natalie
Hi! I'm Natalie Sanford, the owner of Bound Booksellers & Gifts! I've spent the past seventeen years sharing my love for books, reading, imagination, and creative play with my four children. Now, I'm excited to share that love with your family! Inspired by Mr. Fred Rogers, I've curated a space for children to experience childhood similarly—reading, playing, creating, and taking adventures. I love my work; Bound is a place where kids can feel free to play, read, and explore while parents breathe in a sense of nostalgia and peace. Won't you be our neighbor?
Natalie's favorite reads: anything by Kobi Yamada and Marianne Richmond. I love discovering local authors too!
Amanda
Hi! I'm Amanda. I've been at Bound since I moved to Franklin from the Atlanta area in 2019. I love helping to curate our YA and adult selections. I also work behind the scenes on maintaining the website and designing Bound's graphics and promotional material. In my spare time, I write YA historical novels.
Amanda's favorite reads: A Farewell to Arms by Ernest Hemingway, Code Name Verity by Elizabeth Wein, Lavinia by Ursula K. Le Guin, The Lantern Bearers by Rosemary Sutcliff, What If? by Randall Munroe, Rules of Civility by Amor Towles, Till We Have Faces by C. S. Lewis
Naomi
Hi! I’m Naomi, a film student and literature enthusiast from Spring Hill, TN! I love telling stories, creating beautiful spaces, and spending time with people. In my free time, I love to watch movies, write short stories and scripts, make costumes and miniatures, draw, paint, and scrapbook, play guitar, piano, and violin, and of course travel/go on adventures. I also host a podcast with my best friend called Plato in Hollywood about film, literature, and philosophy.
Naomi's favorite reads: The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien, A Wrinkle in Time by Madeleine L'Engle, The Rise and Fall of Mount Majestic by Jennifer Trafton, Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll
