Pet care isn’t all purring and snuggles—especially when your pet is a saber tooth tiger. While Mittens likes Penelope Rex and her parents, he doesn’t like the mail carrier, the vet, the neighbors, or really any other humans at all. But above all, Mittens doesn’t like being left alone. When Penelope comes home from school to a house that’s been destroyed, she starts to wonder if she’s cut out for pet ownership.
